Top 5 Places to Eat Off-Season in Ibiza
Contrary to popular belief, Ibiza does not shut down in the winter. In fact, it’s the best time to experience some of the island’s culinary gems that we’re lucky enough to have open all year round. Our founder Lilly shares a few of her favourite winter hotspots you may or may not have discovered yet.
La Finca Can Suldat
Santa Eulalia
First up is Can Suldat, known amongst locals for its cheese fondue, raclette and incredible steaks, you feel at home the moment you walk in the door of this cosy traditional style finca-turned-restaurant. With live music 7 days a week, this is the place to go if you want a vibey setting, good food and a LOT of fun.

Overall
Santa Gertrudis
Nestled in the heart of the island in Santa Gertrudis, lies Overall – a culinary laboratory that offers a truly unique gastronomic experience. If you want a special night out to try a world class menu and perfectly matched cocktails personalised to your tastes, you need to pay them a visit. Choose from their eclectic collection of vinyls to play on their record player while you dine, or even better – bring your own!
Best Time To Go:
A weekend dinner or a special occasion
Word of Mouth
Santa Eulalia
Tucked away at the end of the Santa Eulalia promenade, WOM is more than just a restaurant - its a cool, open air community hub and music venue with a friendly laidback vibe and stunning frontline sea views. The perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco lunch while the resident DJ's soundtrack your day into night. Give their famous burger a try (in my opinion the best on the island) while you sip on one of their aptly named 'WOMtails'.
Best Time To Go:
A sunny winter afternoon
Can Mimosa
Santa Gertrudi
Another Santa Gertrudis gem. I’ve always found it hard to find a good Sunday roast spot outside the UK – but Can Mimosa have really nailed it. Soak up your Sunday in this gorgeous 200 year old finca, with locally sourced produce and a sustainable zero waste kitchen.
Best Time To Go:
Any day but highly-recommend Sunday lunch
Can Mussonet
San Rafael
This family run restaurant in San Rafael brings a cool, modern twist to Ibizan cuisine. It’s contemporary Ibicenco interior, paired with its cute fairly lit garden make it the perfect spot for dinner with delicious, exquisitely presented food and fantastic service.
Best Time To Go:
Lunch or dinner Friday - Sunday
